The founders
Those who started it all
The story of Miralago begins with a simple decision: open one's home to travellers, in a village then still little known beyond the province.
“We were taught that to host is a form of respect. We have done it this way for three generations.”
What drives us
Three values that stay
Nearly a hundred years on, we still recognise ourselves in a few simple, non-negotiable things.
Family hospitality
Know who arrives, remember the little things, say good morning by name.
Roots in the territory
The plateau, the lake and the people who live there are an integral part of the stay.
Care for detail
Ingredients, fabrics, lighting, silence: we choose carefully, even where it is not seen.
Where we come from, where we go
A continuity that does not stand still
Inheriting a family business does not mean keeping it still: it means deciding every day what is worth growing and what to let go.
“The future of Miralago is not nostalgia: it is a plateau to tell better, a kitchen to look after, guests still to welcome.”
